Photo production in Zermatt

Zermatt is famed as a tourist destination and offers magnificent scenery for photo production, with beautiful chalets and snow-covered mountains all the year round thanks to its high altitude.

Zermatt is located in a dead-end valley at an altitude of 1'620m. It is in the canton of Valais in Switzerland, some 10 km from the border with Italy. The view of the Matterhorn from Zermatt is iconic, without any air pollution thanks to a car-free policy inside the village.

Photo shootings within the superb Zermatt village in the summer should be carefully planned as summer building activities occasionally limit shooting angles within and outside Zermatt chalets.
